Indonesia, Fiji Strengthen Ties
BCFOS -- Bilateral co-operation between the Fiji Police Force and Indonesian National Police is expected to elevate to a higher level.
Both parties held their second Bilateral Working Group (BWG) in Suva on Tuesday where the Indonesian delegation led by Police Brigadier-General Johni Asadoma, the head for International Mission Bureau, Indonesian National Police, and the Deputy Commissioner of the Fiji Police Force Isikeli Ligairi, agreed that the meeting would help further cement their bilateral Police co-operation.
Their discussions revolved around means and ways to further strengthen and deepen mutually beneficial co-operation, as well as capacity building programmes.
Indonesia and Fiji established diplomatic relations in 1974.
