Sultan of Papua, History of Melanesian Sultanate of Papua and Pacific
BCFOS -- Sultan of Papua I refered to Sultan Ibnu Mansur of Tidore Sulatane who has power to rule over Sulawesi to Papua.
Sultan Ibnu Mansur or Sultan of Tidore X travelled to his Papuan territories under his control.
He went to Waieo, Batanta, Salawati, Misool in Raja Ampat Islands.
In Misool he appointed son of Sultan Bacan, Kaicil Patra War known as Komalo Gurabesi as head of the region.
Tidore Sultanate, esecially in Sultan Nuku era, has ruled over Sulawesi to Tuvalu and surrounding Pacific Islands.
