Indonesia to increase trade with New Zealand

BCFOS --  The Indonesian government is expecting its trade with New Zealand to increase by 2024 from currently at around US$2 billion.

"We hope our relationship with New Zealand will lead to an increase in the trade by about US$ 1 billion to US$ 3 billion by 2024," the Minister of Trading, Thomas Lembong, said at the New Zealand-Indonesia Business Forum here on Monday.

He added that agricultural products and animal feeds were among Indonesian products that will help boost this mutual trade.

Trade in sectors such as education, e-commerce, tourism and services is also expected to increase.
